The latest TrueDelta Vehicle Reliability Survey results have been posted. These are for the year ending June 30, 2007. Late responses could lead to further changes, but these are unlikely to be large.

For the 2007 Nissan Versa, I have an average of 3.4 months of data on 92 cars. This is the largest sample for any mdoel--thanks to great participation from NICOClub members.

The stat of 70 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.7 per vehicle) is a bit worse than average for a 2007 model, and a large improvement from last quarter. My sense is that more recently produced cars have not been having as many problems as earlier cars.

A broad array of mostly minor problems have been reported. Examples include:Power window failureFuel hatch release cable disconnectedInside door handle came off, needed to be re-attachedTrunk lid mechanismO2 sensorVentilation sensorBody Control Module (for common TPMS issue)Bluetooth module

The results do not include recalls, warning light resets, or reflashes.

I've been seeing very similar repair rates for the new Altima, and higher repair rates for the G35. So the Versa seems typical for a recent Nissan design.
