I'm sure you know that Bentley builds the GT, etc. But did you know that they also offer the ultimate in saloons? The Mulsanne are the top of the top, usually built from scratch for each customer who can pick everything including hundreds of colors, fabrics, leathers, trim, and interior features. Bentley will truly make every effort to match any fabric swatches or colors you present to them. This Mulsanne was built specifically for a customer and displayed at the Geneva Show. The customer requested an extended wheel base and such luxuries as new buck leather, refrigerator, and even highly polished stone instead of wood trim! Of course, Bentley never tattles about what price a customer pays, but the base Mulsanne starts around $220,000 pounds and the extended model shown here begins around $270,000 pounds. But that's before you meet with the design staff to personalize it to your specifications. It's usually at least $300,000 pounds after choosing interior trim and colors. ($400 - $500 thousand US on average)
Most surprising:
0-62mph in less than 5 sec
over 800 ft lbs torque
Electric disappearing rear screens
Highly polished copper stone veneer trim

Impressive.....how much that Bentley depreciates the moment it's driven off the dealer lot. I actually would like to drive one, but I would not buy one. I've always considered them "statement" cars, and the some of those statements are not polite.

The Mulsanne is hideously ugly.

I work at a resort in Palm Beach and sometimes I'll volunteer to do valet if there are multiple events going on in one day, I drove a Mulsanne and gtc this past week. Everything was fine until I heard the same interior chime noises from an 07 Jetta.
