I sold my 06 M45 6 months ago. The reason was that it was reaching 60K miles and gas is going up and up. I was also concern with the aftermath of not having factory warranty. So I thought it was time to move on to something smaller, newer and more fuel efficient. Keep in mind that I've owned and still own numberous cars through out the last 5 years. 01 Acura TL05 Acura TL04 Fx 3506 G3506 M4506 Scion XB05 Acura NSX08 Lexus 250I love cars and have never really felt attached to any of them except for the NSX. Well I was wrong. Ever since I sold the M, I always catch myself looking at other M's on the highway. Last night my wife and I went out for a nice dinner. There at the restaurant, I stopped to admire an M parked.On the way home, I saw an 08 next to us. Later that evening around 11 pm. I was online looking at what's for sale and how much.

This morning, I purchased an 06 M45 Sport with aero dynamic and only 14K miles. Color is Ubria Grey with Bourbon and wood trim interior. So I said good bye to the IS250. I have to say that I love this car. Thanks for reading this crazy post.

I totally agree with you. The M is a fantastic car, and I hope to have it (and future M's) for some time to come. Too funny that you could only last 6 months without some M lovin! Glad you found such a great replacement... 14k miles on an '06 should hopefully alleviate any fears of reliability.
