I removed my suitcase muffler and I just put the final touches on the new piping the other day:

You don't normally see a pipe coming out that side... :naughty:

Here's what it looks like from the rear :biggrin:

It defintiely doesn't have the subtlety that the stock system has, but I'm willing to sacrifice that for hearing that I have a V8 when I put my foot down and the muscular look the pipes add.

reminds me of the old 60s and 70s cars with duals.....before manufacturers got snazzy and made molded cutouts in the rear bumper for the pipe exits!!!!!

That's the look I kind of had in mind when I did it. I wanted a big old mean V8 powered car when I was a teenager and now here I am... may as well make it a bit meaner :chuckle:

I haven't noticed any real change in performance. If anything I think it may be making my driving a bit more conservative in city traffic because the change in sound really tells you when you're working the engine harder and I also don't want to draw too much attention to myself. At high RPMs and at WOT it is pretty loud and it really snaps and snarls.
