OK, I need help. I have a 72 620 datsun 4 speed. And it randomly stopped working. So this is wat happened. I started my truck and let it warmup 4 about 10min and as i drove off, the truck died on me!!! I tried starting it but still no start. The battery is fine, It wants to start when I turn the key, but still no budge. I can smell gas when Im trying to start it. So I know im pumping fuel. Please help!!! Idk much about trucks.

well if you're sure its pumping fuel, and you're sure its cranking properly... then it is most likely not getting spark... there could be a loose connection somewhere or possibly bad rotor cap etc. the hard part is narrowing it down

it may also be vacuum related, but seems unlikely in this case.... check all your vacuum connections and make sure there are no leaks anywhere
