Whats up everybody?

I am the semi-proud owner of a 99 Frontier XE 4 banger a/tI say semi-proud because I'm proud all the time, except if someone wants to race me.

I have helped myself a little, I have a K&N drop in filter, Gibson cat back, and I removed the airbox. I also reset the ECU, it seemed to help a lot.

Now I just need a turbo

Does anyone here have the fbi mini intake? Is it worth it?

Does anyone here have an elec. fan in their frontier? Does it help?

Thanks all and good to post with ya'll

How did the fuel injectors and apexi computer work??

I have a 98 froniter with the Ka24de.... I bought a top mount t-3 turbo for the ka24de in the altima's/240 sx and am in the process of modifying it to fit my truck (extra cab 4wd)... if they'll handle it, I'm going to try to keep the stock injectors and use the greddy piggy back computer to tune it for about 7 psi boost... it'll be a summer project...

This forum needs to be updated! I'd rather put 600hp in a hb than anything else. Props for those who are already doin' it. It would be a blast to see a little hb spanking a car. Where yall at? I just found this and nobody has been on this over a year and a half!!!

Such an old post to be uncovered in the archives of this forum.

There is an effort to revive the trucks forum now that I have been asked to be the moderator. A few other MODS have been making some suggestions on how to get the word out about the trucks in NICO.

Aside from that there have been 2 efforts to power up the HB.

One such person in South America plopped a 2.4 Turbo into his 4x4 HB. Very slick install. He recently yanked that out in favor of an Isuzu V6, although I don't know why .

There is also a few other visitors here who are laying down some foundation work on some motor swaps. At this point they seem just to be in the planning stages but it's a start.

the seed has already been planted for our hb's to come out, perfomance wise. Go to "enjukuracing.com". Can you say "600+hp red top in a D-21"? It's crazy over in japan, 'course they're a dime a dozen over there. "thenewtype.com" is a japanese club that have a hb with a red top in it also. Even a 720! If you look around the web enough, you'll see them here in the good 'ol usa also. It takes time and money. Well, money more than anything!!!!

The hb bug is growing amongst the nissan fanatics. It's quite interesting what all you can do with the truck. Any engine in them are a good baseline to start with. All have potential. But an engine swap is most likely to happen. I'm a minitrucker by heart. I just prefer trucks over cars. I love the bags, bodydrops, and throwin sparks. I chose nissan trucks over all 'cause of the performance that nissan carries in evey auto/truck. What you can do to a 240 can be done to a hb. Just lacking a bunch of aftermarket parts like the cars have. Plus, it's a little more challenging!

I've been bugging my dad to get a Nissan Hardbody...I mean he did say he needs a pickup... They're probably my favorite pickups of alltime...they just look really good to me and aren't too big to handle.

Guess i'll have to continue bugging him.
