so i've tried all i can. not sure what i've done wrong but hoping you guys can shed some light. From what i've read on the rb25det you want to set base idle to somewhere around 650 rpm's. i have tried everything and cannot get my idle below 1000-1100. aac screw is turned all the way down (clockwise), tps unhooked and throttle pulley scrw backed all the way out. no vac leaks so i'm at a loss! i am running a pfc and can't put the stock ecu back in b/c of larger injectors.

thanks for any help

Are you sure your throttle body isn't leaking? Hows your timing? that can affect it. Also have you tried blocking the IACV feed line, it might be stuck open.

i'll try blocking the line. hadn't thought of that. it will make adjustments from the screw and the it'll idle normal for the most part once i plug the tps back too so i am sure the iacv is working. maybe it's just not closing all the way. i'm sure the TB isn't leaking. timing is set at 15 degrees at 1k (only b/c i can't get the rpm's any lower without the pfc taking control)
