All relays - GoodAll fuses - GoodHeadlight Timer - GoodHeadlight Switch - Good

Right Lamp - comes up and stays up in ALL Switch configurations.Left Lamp - goes down, and stays down in ALL Switch configurations.

The Left motor repeatedly keeps trying to close after it's already down.

This has nothing to do with "H/L RET" Relays(Relays in the boxes) or Fuses. I think it has to do with the internal relay of the motor mechanism on the left housing. (Doesn't really explain the reason for my right lamp staying up, but I could see it being a possible)

Can anyone help me verify this?

Im not sure if this is your problem, but my sisters '87 honda accord's headlight started going on the fritz, and I founf the problem was wiring. From popping up and down for 18 or so years, the wires got all fatigued to hell and were broken inside the plastic. I replaced about 2" or so of the wiring that was bending and the problems went away. Might not be your problem but its an issue on pop up headlight cars. Good luck!
