My battery died, changed it out. Now my stereo has no volume. Everything seems to function like it should, but turn the knob on the stereo to turn it up but there's nothing. Any suggestions? And is there a reset button on the stereo anywhere? Thanks.

Factory (Bose or non-bose?) or aftermarket?

First step is to check fuses.

I checked the fuses on the left side of the dash that was marked audio and the fuse under the hood that said audio. Both were good. The stereo is a factory non-bose system. I took the stereo out to see if there was a fuse in the stereo itself but couldn't figure out how to get inside it without tearing it apart. All the functions on the stereo work, I'm just not getting any sound out of any of the speakers. Any help would be great. Also, I know that some stereos have a reset button to get them to work. I was wondering if these might also somewhere.

check your speaker wireing, they might be loose or disconnected.
