The BSW system in our 2011 Nissan Quest has quit working. Anyone have a step-by-step approach to troubleshooting this system or have an idea what may be wrong?

Have you checked all the fuses and relays? There's a link to FSM's in my sig line below.

Unlikely the fuse is causing that. My backup warning system was intermittent in the 4th-6th years and since then died off completely. All fuses are fine. Nissan's electric connections suck ballz, their engineers all hold the "Mr Intermittent Failure of the millenium" award.

Thank you for the link. The problem is probably the BSW Control Module. I do not get the beep, the side mirror lights, but I can reset the system, the dash light works, and while resetting the beeps also work correctly. Just looking at the schematic I really do not see another option. I guess it is off to the dealership. I will report back. Thank you.

I would recommend disconnecting and re-connecting all involved sockets first one by one. If that fixes the issue, worth checking if that socket is connecting directly to any circuit board and if the solder joints are cold. Re-solder them then. These days the "green" policies caused electronics manufacturers to use lead-free solder which is prone to cracking especially when exposed to heat and cold.
