Hey my name is Matt and i'm 17 years old, I am new to this website but my dad seems to be more familiar with it.

I have a 1994 Q45. It has been great so far, but as in all cars trouble has come with age.

I am looking for a mechanic that specializes working on Infiinitis in the Seattle-Tacoma area.

Any help on the issue please respond to this topic.

The trick is to pay an expert a few hundred to accurately list all the defects, then present them here to learn the most cost effective way to attack each in series.

A quality shop will charge $75-$100 per shop hour yet pay the techs $25-$30, the rest goes to overhead and the other necessary employees.

Retail [dealer and shop] parts are marked up 25-45% to help keep shop labor rates low. Usually the only true profit in a business comes from the parts markup.

I save money and time by paying experts to do homework at $40 per hour on weekends and supply my own parts from wholesale dealers and ebay, junkyards [rarely].

Go see Charlie at Infiniti of Fife. He is the service manager.

Have his senior tech do a once over.

The G50 (nor any other imported Luxury V8 sedan) is not a great car for a 17 year old who is not a trust fund beneficiary. Your are driving a $50K+ (in 1994 dollars) car and the difference you paid for it is the deferred maintenance you have to correct. You get no additional discounts for parts or labor because of the cars age.
