TROUBLE WITH SHIFT LINKAGE

Im having issues with my shift linkage, i just did a 1.6 to sr20det motor swap. i have connected the stabilizer rod to the engine mount bracket, and now the shifter would not move at all... its like the shifter is stuck in 4 gear positon. Do i need to change the linkage, and from what other vehicle can i get the linkage from?
