Thanks to everyone who made great suggestions on "improving my ride on my 93 240SX
I replaced the rack and pinion in the front, new tires, checked brakes ( all are OK )
replaced the shocks, and it rides alot better. Took it to my local auto shop that I use and he tuned it up and replaced two injectors. It has been running like a dream until today!!!
I had been hearing a lifter or valve making a little tap, tap, noice for the last couple of days but car was still running good and not missing. I drove to our local post office and everything was fine. When I got back into the car to start it, it wouldn't start and I had to pump the gas. After 10 - 20 seconds it finally started, but was missing real bad, and smelled like gas. I drove it home but I could tell it didn't have the pick-up it usually has, was missing and smoke was coming out the exhaust. My first thought was a bad injector, but all have been replace and are new. The car was in storage for 4 years at least, was only started and driven once or twice a month.
Any suggestions on where to start first????????????????????????
Have a great chilton manuel for 240SX, but new visions don't have touble shooting section like the old ones I used when I was in high school 1967
Tried to download photos for everyone to see but had no luck figuring out how to do it, not very computer savy
Thanks
