Trouble tightening the crank bolt on a CA18DET

how do you tighten the crank bolt without the motor turning? I put it in gear with the car lowered and everything but I can't seem torque it. CA18DET btw

put the ebrake on, put the car in 4th or 5th and tighten the bolt down. make sure the crank pulley is down most of the way. You should be able to wiggle it in for most of the way.
