So I'm trying to install the cabin filter, so I unscrew the 4 screws, and my friend and I had to force the box to come out from the top with a flathead screwdriver, and it was still connected at the bottom, so it was kind of half-out. I tried to sort of lift it up but it was still as stuck as it originally was, and I could see the cabin filter, but I needed more space to go unscrewing things, so I need to get the glove box completely out.

I have the Service manual, but I can't seem to find instructions on removing it.

I have a hunch, must I take off that bottom part under the passenger's side?

Yeah, it's been posted about 4 times.

It is perfectly clear in the manual.

It's definitely in the BT section of the FSM. I posted the page in another post about microfilter replacement.
