Trouble

The cd/radio system in my g35 use to have problems like freezing or turning off on its own while im driving it happend once or twice and i didn't really think much of it and it stopped happening for a few months but it happend again today. Anyone have problems like this? ALSO, when i start my car and i drive it usually in the morning, when i hit the 2nd gear for the first time in the day i hear this weird noise coming from my car and it just does that every morning for the past 2 weeks. What the hell is going on?

The noise you hear going from 1st to 2nd in the morning is the ABS doing its self check...its completely normal.

Gs have been known to have problems with the CD player and radio, not sure why...there are other threads on this.

i have an 04 sedan and when my car is cold and i pulll out of my drive way after i cut my wheel back straight and put it in drive and drive about 10 feet car will make like a grinding sound almost like the car is farting. but its only when the car is cold. anybody else had this issue or could this be what is mentioned above

I'm gonna take a wild stab and guess that you have an 03-04 G35. The stock head deck really is subpar, and there are numerous issues with it and the wiring associated with it. If it's under warranty, take it to the dealer...if not there are replacements out there, including a NICO sponsored seller.

G'd up, your noise is the same noise I told jae k..ABS doing its thing. It doesn't always happen between 1st and 2nd..if you hold out 1st for long enough it'll do it in 1st.

No problem. When I got mine, the dealership took me on a walk around once it was delivered and told me about everything, including the ABS...the guy was awesome, just wish the 'ship wasn't 2 hours away.

I used to have an Accord before my G and instead of the grinding noises, it would be an even more annoying buzzing sound for the ABS to self check.

Id recommend if its not under warranty to install aftermarket equip. Better sound, better quality. You wont have any issues either.

thats soooo wierd my car like seriously makes a grinding, farting noise. its hard to believe that this is an ABS check

Read your manual if you want piece of mind. Its in there as well. Its a hard noise to describe, its like a grinding whurring noise all at the same time.
