What's up guys? Here's my question: my dad has a 1990 240SX that keeps on giving him trouble while trying to start it. Something seems to keep killing the battery. He has gone through 3 batteries already. Before the 3 batteries the Solenoid on the starter was replaced. When the car does decide to start is has a very weak crank over. Any idea on what the problem could be? :help

did u check to see if ur alternator is operating. The starter is powered completly off the battery, so as ur battery dies down, ur starter isnt going to receive enough amperage to turn the engine over, check all charging wires cuz it sounds like uve got a problem between the alternator and battery.

he had the alternator checked and its operating fine. rudeboy~what do you mean by block ground and make some jumper grounds? thanks for the info...now i can narrow it down between the battery and alternator because if something was wrong with the starter it would turn over at all...correct?
