trouble starting

hey guys for some reason when i try starting the car, it struggles at start, like it starts really slow but eventually starts after 10 sec of starting. if i start it and turn off the car and start it again immediately, it starts up normal, but if i leave the car for 5 min and come back, it struggles to start again

What's the mileage of your car?

How old is your battery? Has your alternator ever been changed or checked?

it has 144000 miles and i have not checked the battery yet, i have a feeling it has something to do with the starter, am i right?

thats prolly one of the strangest things ive herd, but i hate to say this cause lots of people point to this as a problem when it isnt, but it might be your starter, and if its not that, then it is prolly something quite serious.
