trouble starting on 240sx...HELP please....

few months ago i drove bout 2600k on the car...then out of the blue i would start it to go somewhere and it wouldnt start, next thing you know it would...kept doing that for couple days then it stopped starting...no click ....just ploop out nothing....i checked my ignition wires and i connected the black/yellow wire and it started cranking...but thats all it did was crank...i didnt accually start...i checked my fuel pump and fuel filter and fuel lines and injectors and there all running fine...i have spark too so thats a plus...i got a new relay switch and it wasnt the problem...my v12 relay is still working...but right now it just keeps cranking ...i checked all my fuses an relays and im out of clues where to go next....im bout to just take it to the shop to let them deal with it for out of my pocket....

it would be great if you guys could help....

So this is prefaced with a "I dont know much" statement...

I would check my battery terminal connections. I replaced an alternator and starter before i realized that some corrosion was going on between the wire cluster and the connector on the end (it was a cheap walmart connector that bolted down around the wires.) Check/clean between the battery terminal and the connector too. Theres a special brush tool for this (a couple bucks at the most...)

Hope that helps.

PS- You could also get out a multimeter and check that your getting full battery voltage between connections... Follow it up to the starter even.

funny thing is...i am getting full voltage....the car just keeps cranking and cranking.....but doesnt turns over but doesnt budge to stay on....

u check ur distributor and timing?

mightve gotten loose and moved a little bit. mightve even jumped a tooth on the sprockets.

get that checked out bro.
