Ok so my car is having trouble starting/idling. 90 240sx ka24e. I was driving and car died down and had trouble starting (not sputtering). Got it home and could only get it to cut on and idle at 2500rpm then it would cut off after bout 30sec. I changed the positive and negative terminal connections. I rev it up to 5k (a lot of smoke), let off then it dropped to about 1k then off. Also smelled like a lawn mower. I changed the maf and not much of a difference. I plugged the small hose that connects the egr and bpt valve and nothing changed. I just changed the engine temp sensor (the one for the ecu) and now the car idles between 1k-2k a little smoother than before and no smoke but when I give it gas it stumbles and cuts off then becomes a little harder to start (maybe 3-4 tries before it starts again. What should I check/try next????
