Trouble starting '97 max

I just bought the car and never experienced this before. First off, it's a 97 Max, 88k miles, injen style CAI but other than that there's no engine mods..runs great otherwise, but the past 2 days or so when I go to start the car in the morning it won't catch. The engine will grumble like it's starting, everything but the radio will turn on, and then it just stops and the check engine soon light comes on. I usually have to turn the key 4 or 5 times for it to catch..I'm thinking I've got a dampness/moisture problem, any ideas?

Try ignition switch, mine started when it wanted, took a few times for it to catch.... Replaced the ignition switch was good to go
