Shoot, '71 was the "big block" 1600, 0-60 in around 20 seconds. The earlier 1500s were around 50hp.370Z/28 wrote:
Karmann Ghias are really cool little cars. I can't believe they have that little horsepower.
Our '71 Karmann Ghia has a unigue semi-automatic transmission .......There's a shift lever, and no clutch pedal. Tough to get used moving the stick, and not ones left foot........Mudgen wrote:Hehehe. I always had more trouble with my left foot when I switched between my RX7 and my Q45. I'd go for the clutch without thinking and hit that wide brake pedal on the Q. I'm sure I was cursed more than one by the driver behind me.
