Finally got my hands on a Q with a seized engine. I'm trying to pull off the driveshaft and it seems to be stuck. I've already disconnected everything and got the shaft to slide back 3/4" inch out of the transmission tail shaft but it''s stuck at that point. Never had this much trouble before and I've pulled quite a few. I'm trying my best not to damage the rubber surround of the centerline bearing. Any tricks or suggestions welcomed.

Incidentally, if anyone needs parts... speak up as I will be visiting it again tomorrow. It's a "T"... I pulled off a MAF and rear spoiler. The 20mm sway bar is still on it and I can pull it off if anyone is interested. The spoiler is in pristine condition and I'm keeping it for my Q. I'm wondering if anyone ever created a template for the holes that need to be drilled in the trunklid for spoiler install.

i would try getting the center bearing down off the studs and then pushing it into the trans to seperate it from the diff, then you can pull it out.

It's already off the studs. I also used a deep throat socket to bend the studs into the chassis so they are out of the way. Last time the center line bearing caught on the stud and ripped the rubber. The shaft won't budge when I push in or out. I even tried laying parallel with the shaft, hooking both feet on the rear u-joint right where it connects the diff flange and pushing it back using my feet. Still a no go.

Crimson...I'll pick up the HVAC display unit and test it on my Q. No good on the Maf wiring as it was already cut. Strange thing is, they cut the wire but did not take Maf so I have it. On observation though, the wire goes straight into the harness and looks looks time consuming to separate or trace.. where does the wire end? I'm sure it can be spliced back/soldered.

I'll check the sunroof switch. I think it's there. The interior is tan though...what's yours? The sun visors are there too. Although the arm seems to be broken off on one, the vanity mirrors are both there and the hinges are not broken as is the usual case.
