how do you find a thread you posted, then someone moved and now someone has either moved or deleted now and they dont know how to email you to tell you where the hell it is. needless to sey it was moved to the correct spot by a mod, and now i guess either he or another moved it or deleted. you could at least send a email or pm to explain. dont even tell me to search, already done that to no avail. getting tired of everything someone wants to say is search, when in the time it takes someone to type that, most of the time they could have answered the thread to start with. oh and btw the thread was about a 240 i was thinking about selling

near the top right of this page, where it says your username and your log on status, there are 3 links. Log out, Recent Topics, and Active Topics.

Click on the "Recent Topics"... it shows all the threads you've recently posted in.

i went there also and checked that, bu doing that, and also the search feature is what has led me to believe that it has been deleted and if it has i'm not going to repost it, to hell with the person that did that as far as i am concerned, they could have atleast had the balls to send a pm or email to explain why especially after a mod moved it to the correct channel which was fine, but it is no longer there. i was going to update the thread with some pics today but oh well, like i said not going to repost it. oh and by the way, i know who moved it. i posted it late last night, so i know it wasn't on long either

If you can't see it in your Recent Topics or find it by searching for any/all posts by you, then it was likely moved/deleted.

If a Mod/Admin deleted or removed it, it was for a valid reason. Unfortunately, given the amount of time/effort spent working the forums it's not a common practice for Mods/Admin to email users and let them know why.

If there was valuable unreproducible information in the post, we can make an effort to restore said information.

Thanks

whoa whoa... chillax a bit. You're getting all but hurt for something you have no clue about yet.

you can use the search function to show all the threads you've created. OR you can just click on your username to view your public profile, and that has links to all your subscribed threads and created threads.

that is from a while back, you wanna get smart, i can to, you wanna say i can't type well, i'm not a clerk nor profess to be one. also you say i cant type well, guess what you cant read to well, cause i specifically said that the thread was made late last night, not a few months ago, so who is the fool now. this is also why i dont get on this much anymore is cause all the jerks such as this 1. someone has to be a smartass rather than help, so yes i will be 1 back

well i just tried going to the username and searching there and it is gone, so evidently someone deleted it would be nice to know why, or someone could have said something in it about what was wrong so someone could fix it but no, evidently that is just to hard to do just delete and wonder why someone is upset. and the search was the first thing i tried being as how i know most people in here just love to say search on everything

OP... I saw the thread you're talking about.

It was removed because it was a classifieds thread not posted in the classifieds forums.

These kind of threads get treated like any other spam (cuz that's technically what they are... and we get a lot).

Lol you are so silly. You are still quite the fool. Look at you getting all upset over this serious internet business =) Didn't post your thread in the right section and then whine like a 10 year old when you find out it got deleted. And you still have horrible grammar and punctuation, no need to be a clerk but forums are a form of communication and it is hard to communicate with someone that is not easily understood.

my post can be read and understood. also i wasn't upset when it was moved the first time either, never said i was mad when it was moved to the correct forum, i had viewed it since the move. oh and you act like you never made an error in grammer or anything, you must be god then, but definatly not mine. noone is perfect in this world, so you dont bother me. well someone could have said something when it was posted there. doya was the 1 that moved it to that forum like it was and didn't say a thing then someone else removed it. 1 why didn't he say something when he moved it, or 2 why was it just removed then, and when it was posted there was others like it. well either way i know what happened to it, i'm not going to redo it like i said and to hell with it. also it is very lovely how you got some that doesn't read very well, and wants to try and take things off topic

like i have said i realized i posted it wrong then it was moved to the classifieds by doya i think his name was and now it isn't even there, so therfore it was moved to the correct forum then someone deleted it evidently, cause i got an email that someone had replied to it and when i checked to see the reply it had been moved then which i was cool with that part, and no it has done a disappearing act

I deleted that thread..... It was a "thinking about selling" tread, and low and behold inside it was a for sale thread with a short story.

I deleted this thread. I move some improperly listed for sale threads to the classifieds time to time, but seeing your a brand new member, not knowing if it is spam or not, I deleted it. It gives you a reason to venture out, find the classifieds and then post there. Think of it as a constructive delete.

Feel free to post it in the classifieds.

well, when you deleted it, it was already in the classified cause it had been removed, so you then deleted it from where it was supposed to be, either way i dont have the time for this crude anymore at the moment. and gee i done found another listed as possibly and then inside the body it is, same reason as you gave for mine, either way i'm not wasting much more time on this BS it just isn't worth it, and crap like this, and the person earlier, and also everyone just wanting to scream search first thing when i had already searched and told people that i had they still say the same thing. that is why i have gotton away from this site, and don't visit near as often as i once did.

ok... so this thread is done.

just an fyi, if 2 mods and working on the same thread at the same time, one of them could have moved it to the classifieds, while the other mod still working on it could have removed it completely (still thinking that its still in the 240sx gen). Its a common flaw in open access databases...

Don't want to post any more? no care.
