I have recently rebuilt my motor and used a crank that came off a automatic 240sx and i'm a 5-speed. When i went to install the 5-speed transmission the pilot bushing is to small for the input shaft and it's a nissan bushing. any ideas or any differences between cranks? please help i've search and haven't found anything on this problem.

Big difference. The auto transmission bushing is larger in diameter then the manual transmission bushing. The auto bushing needs to be removed and the new manual bushing installed. The manual bushing fits deeper into the crankshaft end; use some sandpaper to clean out the deeper hole as it most likely has a lot of rust.
