This is obviously awful, but the level to which people are out of touch in how they see these things is just amazing.

I love the part where the kids claim they're trying to work to shut down trolling. Never going to happen. The only way to do that is to shutdown the internet. The next best option is to ignore them. By getting fired up, you're playing into exactly what they want. While I think this is somewhat of a low, it's certainly not surprising.

I guess someone needed air time to complain to others about how mean people are.

Still effed up, but come on people.

Quote »I love the part where the kids claim they're trying to work to shut down trolling[/quote]That's pretty much what I'm talking about. Last time I checked the troll mantra was pretty much "we're everywhere and you can't stop us" and they're basically right. People think they can make a difference by fighting it and confronting these people openly. It's amazing that people don't realize this is exactly what the people want.

I'm with Dattebayo on this one. Human cruelty is nothing new, especially when you're anonymous. Are they trying to do something about cases like that? Just let it be water under the bridge and get on with your life. My sympathy goes to both families. Losses are hard.

Yeah, and they should add a totally unrelated exploding van to the footage.

While I'd certainly never troll some grieving people, I think it's pretty rotten, that doesn't make this news. There's nothing that can be done about it, and the less attention it's given, the less of it there will be.

I LOL'd at the "underbelly of the internet" though.

I also liked "the trolls are sometimes overseas, using fake names". Yeah, I'm sure some Sri Lankan dude gives a f**k. It's called TOR, lol.

Trolls have short, stubby arms; good for digging with short, stubby shovels.

Raise the alarm! Here comes the internet!Maybe it's also because their daughter lacked the smarts not to post sh*t about herself on the internet. In related news, someones kid posts up their parent's credit card info on Facebook and the parents blame the medium when they get a bunch of crazy charges on the account.

More typical denial going on here and the network was happy to oblige.

So what you're telling me is that instead of knocking a couple of their child's teeth out, they blamed the FaceBook (which i sometimes visit. so what if i have an account too?) Corporal Punishment FTW. Man if i ever did some mess like that, i'd need to be buried with a computer so i can post on NICO from the afterlife.
