Be careful on those internals. They aren't going to take that for very long. (If they are indeed stock).

If memory serves me correctly, the RB26 bottom end (especiall the counter weights on the crank) like to go BOOM around the 650hp mark, so if that's being done on stock internals, it may not last long.

But, if they are doing that on the stock bottom end, imagine what that thing could pull on a fully built engine...

Much Congratulations David. Keep that beast together and dont beat on "to many" ZR1s, Ferraris, Ford GTs or anything else.

Yeh, we get that a lot from the local skyline owners and we've been running 580hp to 600+hp for a year on stock internals! Just trying to prove all the forum guys wrong! We do have a spare motor being built in case this motor stops doing what it's doing. Thanks for the kind words though.

its not an exact amount of power that makes the engine go boom lol its all in the tune. if you can make 577483923848whp with a good a/f and no knock the motor is be fine for many years.

I've done 654 rwhp on the dyno, about 700 whp at the track(137 mph R33) on a completely stock RB26 back in 2001.

Eventually I was stupid, leaned out #6 and broke a ring land out of it. C16 , 2.0 bar on 2530's , and nitrous.

If you give it enough fuel, watch the revs, you can make a ton of power. There are shortcomings, but for dyno pulls, and some drag racing you are ok.

The World Challenge car, setup for racing was 525-580 whp for a road course. Stock crank, N1 pistons, stock rods. If we didn't corner so hard as to uncover the oil pickup, it would have lasted longer.

Yeh, this car also had 2530's before and we were doubted by many, but it seems there are still many talented, smart individuals still out there making the name for GTR's like yourself even though that was 2001! lol. Amazing on your part! We can pull better numbers, but this car drives on this power everyday and it halls!

.Well whats the point knowing how far you can take a gtr?let people think that they can do this all day?giving false hope telling them you don't have to build a gtr after 700hp?I have to say that is some of the finest tuning Ive seen.Race fuel?methanol? But still don't get the point.Maybe now people will think that they can go 200 less hp just to keep it safe lol.congrats for fine tuning the rest is old news

I don't get the point of your post. Just hating on someone else because they accomplished something? I seem to remember a certain person trying to get 700hp out of an RB25
