Trip to Indy to pick up 350z.

As promised in Repo's thread in gen chat here's the official thread about the trip.Sunday morning Jerry gave me call saying that repo had a 350z that just got traded in. He wasn't looking to make anything off of it but just wanted it to go to someone who would treat it right. I gave Andy a call and we chatted and agreed to meet Yesterday morning. NSRhatch and I left Cleveland (In nsr_s13's car.Thanks Josh) around 7:15am got to the dealership in Indiana around 12:30pm. Checked the car out, drove it like I stole it, and went and did the paperwork. Paid 12K out the door for it. Left the dealership around 3:30pm and got back to Cleveland around 7:45pm. When I got back to the house (around 10pm.) Repo already had a thread started in gen chat aout where my thread was. Andy did an amazing job with the price and financing. Where else could you get an 03 350z for 12k with nothing down.

As is typical with most 350z's because of the way the seat is you rub against it and it wears out. Dan leather= more weight. I think I'll stick with cloth.

O didnt think that it could wear out that fast but ya makes sence with how the seats are shaped and all.

Yeah I was looking at another 350z I wwas interested in and it had the same thing. The head sales guy I was talking to said it was fairly common. I suppose if you had the leather it would hold up longer.

I like the cloth. not as hot i think you would also slide around more then you would on cloth

Yeah I have leather in my tiburon and when I was auto-x it at Carlisle I was all over the seat.

it was a very scenic trip to and from, it was a blast. way to go picking the Z up.
