Trip Report - 9135 KM (5676 Miles) - Edmonton, AB to Mexico

I just got back last night from a 3 month trip. Left Edmonton on December 29, 2008 and stayed in Phoenix for all of January. That included a side trip to Nogales, Mexico. Then from Phoenix drove to St. George, UT where I spent February and March.

The Rogue handled beautifully. Some stretches of the I15 were 80 mph so I set the cruise at 85 mph (137 kph) and it was smooth and quiet. Even took it "off roading" into the desert for a fun ride.

My best tank of gas got me 36 mpg but I seemed to average about 30 mpg on the highway.

It handles the road very well even with the stock conti's and I am very impressed with the performance of the 2.5L 4 cyl engine. Cruising at high speed did not labour the engine at all and steep hills were not a problem; it managed to maintain cruise speed with ease.
