Hey guys, I'm trying to plan a 3 day trip in Seattle soon, and one thing I wanted to do is try going to a gun range. I've never fired a firearm before, and will need the place to offer gun rentals. Can any of you make any recommendations to beginner-friendly places?

Also, if anyone has any ideas on what we should check out (we're probably there some time in the first half of July) while we're in Seattle, let me know! It'll be for a young 20's couple :)

Thanks!

I don't believe there is a non-beginner-friendly gun range. If they rent guns they pretty much say "sign this form", "have fun"

Remember to wear a Northface jacket or the locals will sneer

Try going to Safeco Field and catch a Mariners games. Hands down the most beutiful baseball stadium I have ever been too. It's a retractable dome but still has outdor concourses that overlook the Pugent Sound. And with it being the 4th i am sure thwey will have some kind of air and water show. And the pilots always liek to show off for the people in the stadium.

Caught a game when i was there and they were doing high speed fly bys for the whole time. But really the stadium itself is awesome. Also Mt. St. Helens is really a cool spot to check out. The shear size of the eruption and surrounding damage is amazing. Th blast zone is huge and can only be experienced first hand to realize how powerful the eruption was.

Wow, I don't think I realized that I was going to be in the states during the 4th of July. I'll be sure to find events going on that evening to attend!

Unfortunately neither of us are baseball fans, so I'm questionable on the stadium business, but Mt. St. Helens is something I'll look up for sure.

Regarding the gun range... I wanted some recommendations simply because neither of us have -any- experience, so I just don't want to start off with a bad one.

so you're suggesting he could find and use guns at a Mariners game? Dang, I thought Philly was a tough place... j/k

Seattle is a beautiful town, there's a lot to see/do. I haven;t been there in many years, but a few things you might want to check out:
A harbor cruise (nice at sunset if its not raining)
Pike Place Market (nice to walk around)
Visit the Boeing plant
The space needle
