So far loving my new 2010 Rogue S 360, but there are some things that I don't like, mostly small things. One of these things is the trip odometers. I'd rather not have to look at either trip odometer(A or B) as I find they distract me from the overall mileage odometer. Is there anyway to get the trip odometers to disappear until I actually want to use them?

I know this is a small thing, but it really does kinda bug me. I find that whole orange digital gauge irritating to begin with, but I don't want to have constantly see a trip odometer if I'm not keeping track of mileage, and even if I am, it should be able to be hidden or something like on EVERY OTHER CAR I'VE OWNED!!

Thanks!!

If you have the trip computer, hit the long button on right. I like looking at the average mile per gallon. It usually stays the same for weeks.

And when the headlights are on, I always make the orange brightness to its lowest setting.

Nope, I don't think I have a trip computer. I've tried hitting the long button on the right and all it does is reset the trip odometers. Is there anyway to make these disappear? Does anyone know? I just don't like watching the trip odometer.

Casperfun is correct, on trip computer equipped vehicles (SL and/or SL Premium Pack equipped models) you can toggle to the MPG, distance to empty, etc.

On base models including the S 360, there is nothing you can do to make the trip odometer 'disappear'.

You could use the same 'trick' some use for the TPMS light. The high tech electrical tape fix.

Just make sure to use removeable tape so you won't have that sticky residue.

What was Nissan thinking for 2008. Thank god my eyes still not too bad. Give me some bilburry and a glass of carrots. The original gameboy tetris was this color back in 1989. Geez thanks.

S-S-S-S-SSlight improvement in 2009. Obviously, the L.E.D. influence. Yawn. Thanks but I'll take analog needle pointing guages any day. Did I mention the leap year gas gauge? Oh it comes and goes.....

Meh. It's never bothered me on our 08. I wouldn't consider inverting the colors an improvement either.
