Trip computer

I bought a US car and I'm wondering does anyone know if its possible to change the trip computer from US to Metric (temp, milage, fuel consumption etc)?

Or would I have to replace the ECU with a Canadian one?

I think that there are two buttons on the right side of speedometer the top one is to change the computer settings and the bottom one is to re set the settings that can be re set but i think ( not sure tho) that if you go to the tempreture setting and hold that bottom button down long enough it will change and i think you probbaly do that for each setting you want, but im not really sure i might be imagining this so you might wanna try it and hold the button down for a little bit or just play with those two buttons.
