i started cutting up my bumper to clear the tiny FMIC i have and was wondering if the lower lip will sag like the pic shows. i have the factory front lip spoiler and wanted to know if it will set it straight when i put it back on or should i just cut the thin piece off just below it IC. and place the spoiler on it.

Looks like your car has SBS (saggy bumper syndrome) usually a side effect of UPS (Under Powered Syndrome).

I would write you a prescription for some Turboflex but it looks like you already got some. I think this should clear it up just fine within a couple of days (give or take break-in period).

Should this fail to solve the problem please see Home Depot for a small length of flat metal (you could drill through the lower part and fasten it with some short screws perhaps and 'sandwich it' between your lower bumper and lip spoiler so it would be hidden.) I think that would stiffen it up so it wouldn't sag.

Either way SBS isn't something you should have to live with.

I'm at work. I have to keep entertained some how

I'm sure I'll be encountering this problem when I hack my bumper next weekend so if I get any other bright ideas I'll be sure to pass them along.

Happy boosting!
