Trim Piece above Glovebox

On my 01LE there is a black trim piece above the glove box that says "pathfinder" - I had to r&R it & the glove box when I installed the cabin air filter and replaced the glove box light.

I have seen photos of 03 Pathfinders where this piece is wood trim rather than black and I was wondering if the piece from the 03 will fit my 01? Color/grain match? (Significant other thinks it looks better)

it looks like a lighter shade of wood in the 03 than the 01. Also it would be hard to source from a yard, so you may ending up paying the dealer...$$

I noticed in photos that it looks a little lighter as well - I suppose I can ask dealer parts dept.
Going to check some local lots and/or ads to see if I can find one to compare.

I have a 2002 Pathfinder (Chilkoot) that I wanted to dress up a bit.
The interior was monochrome black....boring.
I found a 2001 LE in a scrapyard (10 minutes away), that still had all the interior trim in it.
I took all the wood grain bits from that junker, including all the dash panels, as well as the four power window switch covers.
They all fit perfectly, and the interior looks a lot better (classier?).
I paid a grand total of $30.00 for everything.
If you live near a wrecker, give them a call and see if they have a Pathy that will suit your needs.
Note: I didn't see a different piece above the glove compartment though.
(The LE at the wrecker had the same black strip.)
