i bought a KA that came off of an automatic transmission and there is an extra spacer/bushing in the back that needs to come out. if it dosent come out, my clutch and transmission won't work right. My problem is that its not budging ...ive tried eveything i can to get it out, but its not coming.... has anyone here ever delt with this problem before?

When I swapped a manual into a previous auto car I ran into the same problem. I used a dremel tool with a cut off wheel and a small grinding disk to cut a notch in each side until it was split into two halves. Careful not to cut too deep as it's not that thick. Hope this helps.

I noticed that you're from AL also. Cool I've been to Auburn a few times. I am down South a few miles from the beach.

Are youguys talking about the bushing in the rear of the crank ? If so and you dont have access to a dremel tool then try using a chisel (carefully) and try to crack it. These bushings are made of bronze which is a brittle material and usually cracks easily

Sorry, I have been working a lot lately. I live in Robertsdale (it's in my signature). It's two towns away from the beach. Robertsdale, then Foley, then Gulf Shores...which got slammed by Hurricane Ivan. My friend from next door graduated from Auburn last year. I bought the white 240 coupe he drove throughout college. If you need help sourcing parts or info just post or email me. Just search members at the top for AL under state and you'll find my email address.
