Tricky coolant leak question.

My 92' ka24de is leaking coolant out where the transmission mounts to the to the block right in the middle at the very bottom (and in the very middle, ie: it looks like its leaking out of the plate that goes between the transmission and block. It is not coming out somewhere else and draining down, i checked the freeze plugs on the side and they are not leaking. So my question is, is there a freeze plug on the BACK of the block (behind the flywheel area) and if not what could cause the coolant to leak out from there? Any advice is much appreciated.

yes there is a freeze plu back there also there is one of you heater hoses routed onthe rear left side of you engine if you look at it from the front. hope this can help you.

Did you find the leak? Mine is doing the same thing. Anyone think some radiator stop leak would help?

nah it will make it worse it plug up the radiator,I didn't see no freez plug on my engine on the back of motor,think the leak is coming from the heater hose there are two back there and one should have a leak just give it a closer look and put your hand after the motor cooled down and see and feel,if there is water on,one of the hoses.

My leak actually ended up being a heater hose, it was leaking onto the crevice where the bellhousing bolts to the block, and running down that giving the illusion that it was the rear motor mount leaking.
