After having laughed myself into tears reading the thread on how mustang owners despise the Z.... (and trust me they do...my best friend has a stang and his GF always rides with me...*smirkz*)....I decided to start a thread on the best 350Z paint jobs .. those most likely to turn a few heads ....especially the Gfs of those beloved mustang ownerz...

Cheerz!

me.... i get the hook up on paint, i have a friend that owns a body shop and my brother in-laws best friend does custom paint on the side and is a painter at another body shop.

But as far as anyone else, i'd say a good paint job would be 1k and custom single color could be 3k+ but you can get anything you want really - if you have the money.

a total paint job including door jambs and the works will around around 3k for a single color.the more custom, the more expensive.a truly unique paintjob with stuff from HOK will depend on who does it. the paint itself is outrageously expensive and i know a few hot rodders who have paint costing around 8-12kit's all in what you want.this industry is about who you know. what i would do is ask around on the community forums for reputable painters in your area.they may give you a discount bc you know them from NICO.if you really want a good paintjob that will last your car the rest of its years, you're gonna pay around 3k for it.IMO, a maaco job would do with a few extra coats of clear, especially if you are gonna do more body mods down the road.my money would go more towards performance though so it's all kinda up to you. it is your car afterall
