Any other largish "professional" pics of the vert? I'm in need of a new wallpaper

Werd brotha - We need more "it's in a parking lot so you don't need a rollcage" events.

Thanks again.

Did you guys forget the NSX? I forgot my camera or else I would post some pics too.

Hitman, you've got the most beautiful vert on the planet and it was awesome to see it in action. Props for the event and you'll definately see me next year!!!

Btw, even though that Cressida looks like ****, it was one of the craziest ones out there.

I'm so dissapointed you got no pics of the only stock 240 at the event Greg. What happened to the 1-2 fail combo? Completely left me out and stole all the glory. LOL and I wish I had a camera in the car since I was behind you every run just so you could hear the guy "oh wait wait the convertible spun out again................... hold on its not starting.................ok he got it started GO!".... I was laughing so hard everytime he said that.

HAHAHAHA no kidding.

Just to give everyone a little background, me and ^ were honest enough to proclaim ourselves NOOBZ and asked to be placed in a different run group (so as not to waste anyone's track time).

So, I looped out. A lot. No, really, an AWFUL lot.

Lots of power, no weight, smooth asphalt, and my first crack at "drift" will do that to ya.

Anyhow, when I did, the car would stall, load up on fuel, and refuse to start unless I unplugged the fuel pump, dry-cranked it, and then re-connected the pump.

Only took a few seconds, but when there's a line of drivers behind you, it feels like an eternity.

The good news is, I learned to keep the car running when I looped out the next time, and had a couple pretty cool 360-degree spins, and just kept going.

Can't wait 'til the next event, I need some practice!

rule #1 of a spin greg

both feet in. brake and clutch all the way down as SOON as you are losing it.

you wont stall the motor (or worse, rotate the engine backwards)

I was throttling up, rather than braking.

Bad habit, but borne of old musclecars - thinking I can "power out" of a spin.

Thanks for the tip, homey!

and in case your memory is going in your old age and you need some help , theres even a rhyme, which joe basically said but didnt quote

"in a spin, both feet in"

looks good though...how cold was it that all you arizona people were wearing jeans? mid 70s or so?

Dude, it's a track event. No shorts.

Actually, it was in the 60's early in the day - drizzly... Got up to the high 70's in the afternoon.

Unseasonably awesome weather!

that only goes for people in hot pits or actually driving for every event ive been to, and those look like paddock pictures, not hot pits, thats why i said it

i was just kidding with the temp anyway, when i lived in florida i was in jeans anytime it got below 65...nowadays after living in upstate NY for 10 years and doing 2 years of college in north dakota in there thats gettin close to tropical heat wave status

Nearly everyone in those pictures was a driver. No hard parking at this event.

Werd, I need a nap.

Saraya was clowning ricers all damn day. The guy who owned the xB was like, "WTF is that all about?" I said, "HEY! Watch your mouth in front of my daughter."

Dar was chillin' on the other side of town, he missed out.

Nikki got a ride in a SC 350Z drift car. Think she might be hooked.

thats usually how it starts. 1 good ride with a good driver and BAM

next thing you know youre in a 5 figure debt, own a truck, trailer and have made more sacrifices than you care to remember all for your car/sport.

I know, I was SO bummed no one got video of my couple fail-free runs.

I'd LOVE to have vid of when George drove my car.
