Tri-State Ultimate Street Car Challenge

<FONT SIZE=""5"">NEW and IMPROVED 1 WEEKEND EVENT!!!!</FONT>8/3, 8/4, 8/5!!!!!!!!

Well as much interest as the originaly thread got and the recent revivals I have decided to put on the challenge. I will not be entering my car as it will not be ready for some time so I will be Leading the whole operation.

Also, I would like to note that SisforSurfing will be doing a full write up (mag article style) and we will be needing some skilled photographers.

On to the event:

---The event will consist of 10 categories all being score out of 100 points each. ---The first place person will get 100 points and all other scores will be deviated on a percentage of the first place person. ---Person with the most points at the end wins.---Events will take place one weekend during the summer…. FRIDAY SATURDAY SUNDAY--Subjective Event judging will be done by myself, Dimitri Tsougas, and a Suprise judge each time (non participants of course) If you dont like it....too bad

Saturday 8/4Autox'ing-------------------------------South Jersey SCCA (in the process of getting it reserved for us)

Sunday:8/5 All at SPONSERING SHOP

***Parts list to be submitted at the beginning of the event. Entrants will be held to the mods list with in a 10% difference of the inital life aka Spring rates on suspension can only be changed 10% stiffer or softer if switched. Treadwear can be switched within 10% of softness etc.

Rules:1. No bitching complaining whining or any other annoyance about how the event is run, because you are not putting it together2. Rule #1 is the most important3. Any street tire is allowed... HOWEVER, if you show up to the drag event with radials on, the tires you switch to for the autox must be within 10% treadwear of that radial4. If you miss an event you get a zero5. You must bring your own safety equipment6. You must have the money to participate in ALL of the events...7. All participants must sign a waiver stating that I or anyone who puts this on is not responsible for the dumb **** you do. (worded better of course)7. You must be 18 to participate8. If you are under 18 you will need a parent sign the waiver as approval.9. Dont try to buy, bribe, suck up, kiss ***, weasel or whine your way into winning. Judging is non partial and will not be fixed in any way shape or form.10. If you get caught cheating in teh competition category, your money will not be refunded and the remaining 19 participants get to kick you in the nuts.(or box)

How to Sign Up

I will be taking applications for the entrants. To keep interest high and competition spirited an entree fee will be completely divided up into price money.

Competition:The 20 top applicants will be contacted to pay $50 as an entry fee to be kept in a separate account until the results. <FONT SIZE=""5"">The money will not be collected until all events are scheduled and we have enough compeitors.</FONT> <FONT SIZE=""4"">until then if you would like to be in the exhibition category post up and I will add you.</FONT>If you do not wish to pay the fee LMK and I will put you in the exhibition category, but the top 20 will take priority. This means that they will go first on every event, have their times recorded and confirmed on every event, and will be placed in the standings. They will also get a quick write up of the car with a picture for the gallery shoot after the first show

---Award Ceremony- Competitors will be recognized at an event at the end of the summer where they will be presented with a check of their winnings, and recognized for who dominated each category. 1st 2nd and 3rd will get prize money, maybe honorable mention can get a Vendor giveaway (still to be worked ou)

Exhibition:Exhibition will be run just to gauge where you are at in terms of the other cars around. Your times will most likely be recorded but accuracy and consistency cant be guarenteed. You are basically just participating in the event but not directly under my supervision.
