was wondering if the t5 was ever used with the vg30? or has anyone tried it?

i got a new book called "how to rebuild and modify your manual transmission" and in it mentions that the 280z used the t5. did nissan develop their own for the 300zx?

...so if i read that correctly then i would need to find a 5 spd from a 84-86 turbo and i'll have a t5.
