Tree falls on carport crushes my qx4!!!

So today a huge tree branch in my backyard splits and falls, crushing my sunroom, carport, my dad's ranger parked under the carport, and the hood of my qx4!!!! I'm so pissed. Since I only have liability on it, I will most likely have to fork out the dough if I ever want to fix it. It still drives well but the hood looks terrible. I will post pictures soon. Also, my security cameras caught the action which I will upload on youtube. AHHHHHh helpp.

Wouldn't home insurance cover things like that? I'm not a homeowner so I wouldn't know...

My home insurance only covers damages to the house. I checked with my agent and unfortunately I am out of luck. Well, I guess I'll just have to drive around like this for a while until I save up enough to fix it. I just bought a new house that I am planning on moving into so that's not helping at the moment.

ok so im finally getting around to fixing my qx4... slowly. A while back after the accident, i noticed that my left HID would turn on normally, then dim after a few minutes. It would change into a pinkish hue. a few weeks after that, it cut off completely. Does this mean that the bulb needs replacing or the ballast / both. The housing on the headlight that went out got pushed in slightly but did not crack.

You can swap the two ballasts to rule that out.
