I went out and did some spring cleaning (AKA gutting) of my track car today and it was......interesting?? Well anyways im taking out the entire dash/console and why removing the console I found alot of crap under it(under the ash tray area of an S13) First off I found 2.37 cents in change, ALOT of red smelly goop(gonna guess its ketchup) and belive it or not some CRACK(I think) yes CRACK as in drugs.. Its not very much but it was in a plastic bag wrapped in masking tape and taped to the side of the auto seat belt control unit thingy. To say the least I was very surprised. haha And I got a question too.. Im gonna be putting on a B&M SS and I got the shifter down to just the shifter. But I cant figure out how to get it off. There are 4 visible bolts but they dont seem like they would remove the shifter. There is just a rubber thing at the bottom of the shifter. How the hell does that thing come off!!

omg crack in your car! lol how long have you had the car and who did you buy it from?

i just had to remove the drivers seat because the lap belt retractor was broken (not really). there was a quarter and a nickel jamed in the retractor and i found like $3.08 under the carpet.

Hmm like a little over a month.. I bought it with a bad motor from some middle aged lady.. She was kinda trailor trashy.. I got a REALLY good deal on it(100 bucks its FLAWLESS inside and out) and it turn's out the motor wasn't "bad" as she said it was all I did was put a new head gasket on it. Maybe thats why I got an awesome deal on it?? maybe it was like involved in a double homicide or some crap like that???? LOL

I found an unsmoked joint under the carpeting beneth the ashtray. It was fairly old though as the papaer was all yellow and crap. It was funny though that I had gotten pulled over 2 days before that at around 2 a.m. and they searched my car becuase they had nothing better to do at that hour and didn't find it (thank God).:thumbup

Probally that chicks.. I drove this car for a week before I decided what I wanted to do with it and I am GLAD I didnt get pulled over. Although they probally wouldn't have found it but a K-9 may have. My friend told me " you will definately get your money back from this car" So I am guessing he thinks he can sell it for more then 100 bucks.. If so thats pretty cool. If it was that ladies im just wondering why she didn't take it out? I also found a Polaroid picture of a naked chick(ugly as FUDGE) under the carpet in the hatch. Who ever put all this **** in my car was FREAKY

once you get the shifter down to where you can see the actualy ball then you need to get a big set of snap ring pliers.there's a big snap ring that holds a piece in...get that out and the shifter pulls out nice and easy

guys guys the b&m instals with just 6 bolts no pulling the snaprings or the shifter shaft. there is four bolts you can see through the tunnel from the top after you pull the inner boot out of the way....and 2 more bolts further forward...you have to have a crows foot or very small wrench to get these as there is no room for a wratchet. pulll the old one out...put some liquid gasket maker stuff on the new one and reverse the order of the previously mentioned

as far as i know it does if you go to the b&m web site its the same part number for s13&s14 (silvia) and the only thing different in the transmisions that i know of is the bell housings..if thats not correct some one correct me...because if im not mistaken the only difference in the s13 and s14 is the head..trannies are the same i think

4 bolts in the car and 2 from under the car further up on the transmission. There are .pdf instructions on the B&M website and they should have came with the shifter.

I found like 20 CD's when I put a blower motor in my car, most were really lame and the ones I kept are really scratched, haven't gotten around to trying to clean them up yet...
