You can use a tranny out of a 520 but you will need the trans mounting plate flywheel starter and clutch and tranny. I have a complete driveline from the mounting plate back including the driveshaft I might be willing to sell.

I believe you'll need the driveshaft also since the tailshaft splines are different between the 320 trans and any of the later ones.

Buying my extra floor shift tranny would still be cheaper than the other options laid out here thus far.

Not really since a 320 floor shift trans is the same as a 520 floor shift trans-bottom cover 4 speed.  Both of which are quite different from a 320 column shift trans-side cover 4 speed.  No other trans will be a direct 'bolt-in' if your 320 started out with the column shift trans.  It also requires the mounting plate, later clutch, starter, and front driveshaft yoke, and modification to the rear tranny mount.  Your truck (Montezuma) must be a 65.  A few changes were made at the factory to the 320 in order to change to that trans.  What trans did you replace it with?  I went through all of this when I swapped out my E1/column shift for a J16/200sx dog leg 5 speed.  If you're going to do this swap, you might as well use the same trans I did.  It's the same amount of work.

Yeah the truck is a 65.  We replaced it with another 65 truck tranny that I picked up in Lake Elsinore for $150.00.  I am selling my extra for less than that because I just need to get it out from my house, I got a big Z project to get to and the L320 tranny is in my way.
