trasmission sensor's wires cut off!!!!!!!!!!!!

so the wires of the sensors that are on the side of my manual trasmission are cut off. i can't put them bach together. So can i just change the sensors of do i have to buy a new transmission?please help this sensors are keeping from reving above 5k

well, i don't even have a transmission harness for my car, and it works just fine... dunno what the cant rev above 5k is about...

neather do i, im guessing that you are talking about the 4th and 5th gear sensors?

if it cant rev past 5k than the ecu must think it is in 5th gear all the time. Id just get a couple sensors and be done with it
