from the passanger side use a box wrench and use the closed end and slide your are right in there and walla i just took it out this morning and also 2 weeks ago so remember to pull the wrench up to loosen after you loosen enough you should be able to get your hand on it to remove it

to remove transmission when you get it out loosen the morot mounts and pull the transmission away couple of inches and turn counter clockwise about 70 or 80 degrees and then pull back

Jack up the transmission til you cant jack it up no more and get in there with a wrench, 1/4" ratchet, or a 3/8" ratchet and some elbow grease. It will come out. Yes it is a pain in the arse.
