Yesterday while driving my car it started to get progressively harder to shift gears. Once in the gear it was fine but getting it there was the problem. Before too long I couldn't get it into first gear at all and the others started getting even harder. I got to my workplace and parked, hoping that when it cooled down everything would be fine. When I got back in about an hour later, I reversed out of the parking space but couldn't shift into any other gear. To get back in the parking space, I turned off the car and while off was able to put the car in 1st gear and start the car (while in 1st gear) and park. So I can shift through the gears while the car is off, but once the car starts, I can now only shift into reverse. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

There could be some bubbles in the clutch line. Try pumping your clutch a couple of times before putting it into gear. If after that you can shift fine... atleast for a little bit, you should bleed your clutch... you can also get rid of your clutch damper. Just some suggestions.
