Transparent pricing???

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I was at a Infiniti dealer yesterday. The ex I was looking at was wad journey awd with just the premium package and no accessories. The "Internet price" came out to be about 36,700 I believe. I was then told that the Internet price is the final price and can't be negotiated because they had a new policy called transparent pricing or something to that effect... Can anyone confirm this?

Total otd price wat 39,260 approximately.. Anyone know how to work around this?

If you are in a bigger city, go to another dealer. ANY price can be negotiated and if the dealer is unwilling to negotiate further but you feel you can get a better deal that is fair to everyone, don't budge. Say "thanks, I will try someplace else" and walk away.

Was this new? What year/Miles? AWD or RWD?

Good Luck.

There is NOTHING transparent here except the salesman's incredulous attitude! Any price is negotiable until you get a firm NO on either side. Tell'em blow their transparent pricing right out their dual chrome exhaust tips
