.....just out of curiosity, whenever we approach our cars with our transmitter in our pocket, aren't the doors supposed to unlock whenever we touch the door handle? or is that just for lexus cars? my car is an 06 M45

Not on the M. I think the EX and the new FX work that way, but with the M and the G you still need to push the button in the door handle.

you have to push the little button on the door handle to unlock/lock.

better yet, why don't you just push the key fobs unlock button.........???? Brilliant huh???? When did we all get so lazy???...........
