Transmisson Problems

Im pretty sure the auto trans in my 97 is about shot. It jerks often and slips really bad when the car is cold. I want to swap in a manual when this one gives up. Does anyone know of any websites with reasonably priced transmissions? Ill get all the other things from a junkyard like the pedal, all the cables, and whatever else ill need.

Are you wanting a rebuilt transmission? If you're looking for a good deal on a salvage yard transmission I'd check out http://www.car-part.com. Other than that I don't really know of any places that sells rebuilt 5-speeds off hand.
