Does anyone know a tranny from a '90 240 would be any diffrent than say your average RWD tranny from the states (i.e. chev, ford, olds)? I just found out my uncle can rebuild trannies, but when he learned there was no such thing as a FWD...wait scratch that saab was the only company that made FWD. Any who any advice would help.

Thanx

it depends how long ago he learned, if he learned in the time before synchros then id say no, but if he knows his stuff the concept is still the same. make sure everythinggoes together right because if one thing is wrong or left out there is a chance that the whole thing will not work and will have to be torn down again.
